Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Dudley Eugene Swan Sr.
A homegoing service for Mr. Dudley Eugene Swan Sr, retired Police Inspector CPM, LSM, beloved husband of Marlene Swan [nee Wingood], of 10 Wellington Back Road, St. George’s, son of the late Fielding and May Alene Swan [nee Douglas], loving father to Perry Wingood Swan and Dudley Eugene Swan Jr, brother to the [late] Arnold [late] Natalie], [late] Vanosdelle [Diane], [late] Hubert, [late] Eunice [Quinton Sr], Butterfield, Clarabelle [Eugene] Wade, will be held at St. George’s Seventh Day Adventist church on Monday January 9, 2023 at 1.00pm.
Interment will follow at Richard Allen AME Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren Katrina Coleman, Melissa Swan, Princess Swan, Jordan Swan, Alexander Swan, Desirée Swan, Destine Swan, and Zeal Swan. Great-grandchildren Kelvain, Kelsey, Robert, Jasmine. Brothers-in-law Hilton [Brenda] Wingood and Lillian [Gladwin Doc] Hall. Special friends Bermuda Police Association, Hannibal Masonic Lodge #224, and the Allen Church family.
Other relatives and friends too numerous to mention in Bermuda and overseas.
Dudley was pre-deceased by mother-in-law [late] Mildred Wingood [nee Lightbourn] and [late] Elmo Wingood.
