The funeral service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Middle Road, Devonshire on, Monday, January 18th 2021 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Christ Anglican Church cemetery.

He is lovingly remembered by his son Shivaughn Smith and granddaughter Shakeela Smith.

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful transition of Mr. Victor E.M. Parris, owner and operator of Taxi T1642, who was in his 89th year.
 
Victor was predeceased by his parents Robert and Blanche Parris and wife Edith Parris.  Victor leaves to cherish his memory: sons Victor [Cherrie], Ricardo [Sally-Ann], and Michael Parris, Dwayne and Perry Saunders; daughters Anita Parris, Laverne Griffin, Angie Farquharson [Derek], Tawanna Wedderburn [Livingston] and Shawnette Miller [Norman]; brothers Noel [Betty] and James [Dr. Sharon] Parris; sister in law Florence Parris [late Roger]; 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren 6 nieces and 6 nephews; and God child Nuri Latham. Special friends include Lauren Grant and the Lorraine’s Rest Home staff, Larry Burgess, Gladwin Ming [deceased] and The Spinning Wheel staff.
 
Victor was also predeceased by his brothers George and Leon Parris, sisters Alinda Cox [late Eugene] and Mildred Dyer [late Edmund].
 
A private family graveside funeral will be held. Covid-19 precautions are to be observed and mask and hand sanitation will be required.  Social distancing will be observed.
