It is with great regret and sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Ann White PhD.
On Sunday, March 14, 2021, Leslie White PhD, loving daughter, friend, and mother, passed away at the age of 48. Leslie was born on August 23, 1972, in Paget, Bermuda to David and Sarah [Dey] White. On August 21, 2003, she gave birth to her only child, Jordyn.
Leslie had a passion for writing. Her work was very much admired not only by friends and family but also by all who found comfort in her novels. She received her psychology degree from Washington College in Chestertown Maryland, and she practiced psychology for 20 years.
She was known for her infectious smile, kind and compassionate spirit, and her desire to help anyone she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed by her lifelong dearest friend Susan Buchanan and by all her family, friends and acquaintances. Leslie was preceded in death by her father, David L. White. She is survived by her mother, Sarah, and her loving daughter, Jordyn.
There will be no viewing or funeral service. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bermuda SPCA and PALS Cancer Care in Bermuda.
