Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Herman Coolridge Trott, beloved husband to the late Norma Trott [nee Bassett]; son of the late Reginald Trott and mother the late Virginia Trott [nee King] in his 91st year of 21 Harlem Height’s Road, Hamilton Parish.

A private ceremony will be held on Friday, January 28th, 2022.

There will be no interment.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home, where a walk-through visitation will be held on Thursday January 27th, 2022 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm and again on Friday January 28th, 2022 from 1:00pm to 1:50pm.

Those attending are asked to please adhere to the Covid-19 protocols.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of well-known farmer and taxi operator, Manuel “Bob” Viera in his 88th year. Loving husband of 63 years to Antoinette Viera, adored father of Cindy Powell [Richard] and Stephanie Queary [Brian], loving grandfather to Mark Powell [Jacqui], Chelsea Burrows [Aaron], Brandon and Matthew Queary. He is survived by his sister Norma Dawson, sister-in-law Alison DeSilva [Ray], brothers-in law David Judd [Joanne], George Cook, his adopted Terceira family, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A private graveside service is being planned. Special thanks to the farmers and to the staff of KEMH Gordon Ward. The family requests instead of flowers donations be made to either the Ag Show Ltd, the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
