It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Vernon [Vernal] Llewellyn Davis in his 80th year, who entered fully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on Monday February 20, 2023.

He is survived by his loving daughters Onika Mendes, KimberLee Bean [Dave]; mother of the daughters Joan Davis and Rian Williams brother to Onika and KimberLee; also surviving is his sister Ethlyn Richardson; grandchildren Enrique Mendes, Kimora, and Lanziah Bean; brothers-in-law John and Jonathan [Nuch] Trott; sisters-in-law Julie Minors, Jennifer Hurns, Gloria Jean and Josette Trott; cousins Vincent Davis, Eddie [Rev Betty] Woolridge, Felicity [Gregory] Jacobs, Lucy Davis, Earline Campbell Nephews: Anthony Richardson, Robert Thomas, Marc Tucker, Jahdae Trott, Jonathan Minors, Nieces: Angela Thomas, Carmen and Sheri Adebiyi, Marcia Jarrett, Jaedah Trott; special friends loving caregiver Darnette Kellman, Peter Farge, Pastor De Jaun Tull, Calvin Simons, Jackson Smith, Patricia Simmons, Janet Douglas, Gwen Robinson, Brenda Bean and a host of friends and family too numerous to mention.

Vernal was predeceased by adorable and loving grandson Damore Bean, brothers Eddie, Leon, Delano, Stanton, sister Yvonne Davis, and nephew Munro Tucker.

A celebration of his life and home going service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at The Seventh Day Adventist Church Southampton, Middle Road, Southampton at 1.00pm. Interment will follow at St Anne’s Cemetery, South Road, Southampton. Visitation will be held at Amis Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick on Wednesday March 8, 2023 from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

Special thanks to Packwood Home, New Testament Church of God, Pastor De Jaun Tull and members at SDA Southampton Church, staff at Agape House, Chaplin Kevin Santucci, Amis Memorial Chapel, David J. Lambert Tennis/Pro Registry President and Pomander Gate Tennis Club.

It is with great sadness the family of William A. S. Grant announces his passing. He was the beloved son of the late G.F. Dudley and the late Winifred A.H. Grant; devoted and loving father of William R. [DeShae’] BJ and Blaine A Grant [mother of the children H U Elaine Grant], the beloved grandfather to W. Tyson Grant, and devoted partner to Sara Simmons.

A graveside service celebrating his life will be held on Friday 10th March, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Pembroke Parish Cemetery, Marsh Folly Road, Pembroke. There will be no viewing.

He leaves to cherish his memory his surviving siblings Wilmot [Bonnie] Greer, Anna-Rose James, Shalimar [Shelly] [Lawrence Cairns], Edward [Janet] and Mary Grant; his half-sisters and brother, numerous nieces and nephews, a large family of cousins and extended family members too many to mention.

He was predeceased by his father Gladwin Frederick Dudley Grant, mother Winifred A.H. Grant, younger brother Marvin E.E. Grant and great nephew Talundae A. Grant. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Matilda Smith Williams Home, 7 Kent Avenue, Devonshire DV.
