A Graveside service will be held for Sylvan Deveaux [Tech] Richards Sr. in his 90th year of 16 Warwick Lane, Warwick WK02, beloved son of the late DeVeaux Richards and the late Inez [Richards] Douglas, will be held on Saturday, December 11th, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at St. James Church, Somerset. Sylvan Sr. is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Richards nee Stovell; loving father to Sylvan Richards Jr. [Yahaira], Sherry Swan [Brian] and Sandra Richards-Vance [Corey].

Viewing will be held at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel on Friday December 10th, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Also survived by Brendan Trott [Danean], Dean Fox and Dale Fox. Loving brother to the late Norma Tucker, the late June Dickenson, the late Corinne Newell, the late Sandra Little, Bryant Richards Sr. [Carol], Charles Ratteray [Joan] and the late Kerwin Ratteray. Brother-in-law: Edward Stovell [Ann], John Stovell [Erna], Sister-in-Law: Carroll Whack, Colette Stovell-Ford [Gerald]; Grandchildren, who fondly called him Pa Tack and Pa: Sharia Whitehurst, the late Trey Swan, Shaun Swan, Stefon Swan, Alyssa Dyer, Trey Vance, Syon Richards and step-granddaughter, Sharai Parris. Great-Grandchildren: Dhulché Swan DeSilva and Zhen Swan Knight. Also survived by nephews: the late Albert-Bryant Dickenson, the late DeVeaux Tucker, Ulysses Little, Ralph Newell, Bryant Richards Jr., the late Duane Richards, Ivan Stovell, Sidon Codrington, Shaquille Codrington; nieces: Thelma Trott, Andrea Tucker, the late Kim Little, Kay Newell, Laureen Newell, Jill Dill, Terri Powell, Joann Dill, Cheryl Robinson, Nicole Stovell, the late Jamel Stovell, Michelle Salas, Marika Whack, Zarinah Codrington, Zuwena Codrington. She was predeceased by her brothers: Eugene [Lorna] Carmichael, Calvin [Olga] Carmichael and Dale Lovell and grandson Stanley Fleming.

Her memorial service will be held on Sunday 12th December 2021 at Campostella Heights SDA Church, Norfolk, Virginia at 1:00pm USA time and 2:00pm Bermuda time. Service can be viewed via YouTube on the church’s website.

A celebration of life service will be held for Morissa Andrea Moniz on December 16th, 2021 at the St. Anne’s Church in Southampton at 2pm. Morissa, in her 29th year, of 13 Turtle Place in Southampton is lovingly remembered by parents Morris and Patty Moniz, sister Brittney Moniz [Marcus], Grandmother Frances Moniz. Uncles, Arthur Judd, Garfield Teal, William Wolffe [Pinky], Ronald Wolffe [Terry], Aunts, Regina Smith, Andrea Jackman, Karen James, Dione Wolffe, Shonda Wolffe [Mark], and Maria Moniz.  Cousins, Jeral, Kori, Nakia, Binky, Leslie, Myron, Alex, Azzi, Laquita, Elethur, Christina, Crystal, Laura, Keisha, Angelique, Mezhyiah, God Mother Anna, and Godson Nidhi and many other extended family members.  Morissa was predeceased by Grandparents Lawrence Moniz Sr, Burt & Angie Wolffe, Larry Moniz Jr. [Uncle] and God Father Danny Outerbridge. Special friends Aaron, Chelsea, Tenay, Terra, Jessica and other friends, acquaintances and coworkers will miss her dearly. Colors may be worn. Morissa will be laid to rest in St. Anne’s Church Cemetery immediately following the service. There will be no viewing and no wake. The funeral service will adhere to all Covid-19 regulations which will include the use of SafeKey for all attendees that are in the church, social distancing must be maintained, and masks must be worn at all times. As the use of SafeKey is mandatory, it is advised that all person attending the church service arrive early in order to accommodate the process of checking everyone SafeKey and seating everyone in a timely manner.

In celebration of the life of Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Hamilton born July 14th 1965 and passed on to the next life December 12th 2021. Cindy was an active member of the Bermuda Volleyball Association and represented Bermuda on a number of occasions. Mother of four she leaves behind Kyle Alexander, Keiran Richard, Kaleb Mark and Kayley Ann Hamilton. She was a devoted wife to Mark Hamilton for 32 years. Cindy will always be fondly remembered for her quick wit and passion for people.  She had an abundance of friends both locally and abroad and will be sadly missed but often remembered by her loving friends and family.

A graveside memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday 18th December 2021 at 4:00pm at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Paget.

He will be dearly remembered by nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends too many to mention.

Interment to follow in Christ Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Warwick.

A walk thru visitation for relatives and friends to pay their respects at Amis Memorial Chapel and Crematory, Khyber Pass, Warwick will be held on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Zakiya Douglas, Kai- Larwan Douglas, Nzai Caines-Steede, Diaz Steede, Onyx Outerbridge- Steede, nieces, nephews, many relatives, special friends: Clarence [Stoker] Smith. Anthony Raynor, Shannon Outerbridge, Rick Richardson, Jack Calder, Janet [Pinky] Steede, Ronnie Wong and others too numerous to mention.

Lee was predeceased by his brothers Archie, Keith, Kimbel, Voorhees, Webster and Wendell, sister Jeanette, aunts Cerise Stovelle, Grace Clarke, Clementine Dill and uncle Newland Outerbridge.
