Marian Eileen Holland Bermuda 2016[AMIS Memorial Chapel]

Amis Memorial Chapel announces that on July 29, 2016, Mrs. Marian Eileen Holland beloved wife of the late W. John Holland, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, “Omega” 16 Fairylands Lane, Pembroke HM 05 in her 87th year; beloved mother to Susan Mary [David], Lesley Archer [Michael] and Gary [Valentina]; sister to Kathleen Lyons [Bill] in England, the late Harry Thompson [late Patricia] in New Zealand and sister-in-law to the late Hedy James.

A celebration of her life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, corner of Church and Court Street, Hamilton on Monday, 8th August, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. There will be no viewing.

 Cremation will follow.

 In lieu of flowers, donations in Marian’s memory to “Just Between Us”      c/o Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre,  at Clarien Bank    Account No.   6000002393 or post to 46 Point Finger Road or P.O. Box HM 1363, Hamilton HM FM will be greatly appreciated.

Also surviving are grandchildren Daniel [Kimberly], and Paul Archer, Melissa, Paget and Johnny Holland; niece Annette Hall [Guy] and their daughter Natalie in California; nieces and nephews in the U.K. and New Zealand Janice Peters [Johnny], Chris Lyons [Lynda], Danica-Lea Larcombe, Ian [Shari]  and Peter Thompson ; special friends Marjorie Duxbury, John Amott and Hazel Brown, numerous friends of St. Andrew’s Church and “Just Between Us” breast Cancer Support Group and other relatives and friends.

Colourful and comfortable clothing may be worn.

Visitation:  Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Claire Spencer Hall of St. Peter’s on Tuesday morning only from 10:00 a.m. – 10:50 a.m.

She is also survived by her grandchildren – Roydon Grant, Tashae Harvey and Ryan Turner; great grandson Roydon Grant Jr.; brother Donald Caisey, numerous nieces, nephews; special friend – Audrey Bassett, and other dear relatives and friends.

A service celebrating the life of Ms Donna Marie Ball, a long-time  employee   of the  King  Edward  VII  Memorial  Hospital’s Dietary Department,  beloved  mother of  Neva and   Philip Lewis, Jr. and daughter of  Gloria Melvina Ball and Edward George  Alexander Ball  [deceased] in her 62nd year of ‘Longtail Cliffs’, 18 East Shore Lane, Sandy’s will be held on Wednesday, August  17th, at 3:00 p.m. at St. James Church, 90 Somerset Road, Sandy’s.

In lieu of flowers, donations  may be made in Donna’s memory  to PALS, P.O. Box DV19, Devonshire,  DV  BX or  online to  www.pals.bm. There will be no viewing. Interment will follow at St. James Church Cemetery.

Donna is also survived by sisters Leleath Bailey, Earleen DeSilva [Gregory], Debbie and Paulette Ball; brothers Edward Ball, Jr. [Brenda] and A.
