It is with great sadness that we announce the Courageous and Dignified passing of Mr. Vanosdell ‘Van’ Fielding Swan Sr. in his 91st year.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Diane of 47 years and the children from that union; Robin [Barbara], Vanosdelle Jr. [Dirk], Mayalene [Allan] and Vanessa. He was blessed to have known his 6 grandchildren: Kareem, Lisa, Tyrell, Zain, Eja and Zeaje as well as his 6 great grands. He loved his siblings Arnold Swan [late], Eunice Butterfield, Dudley Swan and Clarabelle Wade. Dad was blessed with a host of supportive family and friends too numerous to name.
The celebration of Dad’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 7th at 11:00 a.m. at the St. George’s Seventh-day Adventist Church and the interment will be at the Richard Allen Cemetery.
