AMIS Memorial Chapel regrets to announce the passing of Mitchel Bryon Berkeley in his 55th year. The son of Edmund H.G. Berkeley and Ann D. Berkeley [deceased], father of Briann [Mitchell], Aarin, Adriene and Brianna, loving brother to Terryann and Edmund Berkeley, former husband to Tracy Berkeley, stepson to Sharon Berkeley and partner to Tyonika McGowan.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Worship Centre, Dundonald Street, Hamilton. Viewing will be held from 1:00 to 1:50 p.m. at the Church prior to the service. The interment will follow at the Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Hamilton Parish.

He is lovingly remembered as grandfather to Sah-vè, Tari, Ketura, Hasani and grand dog Maco [Bullet]; uncle to Ashley and Edmund [Chico] Berkeley and dog niece Keenya; sister-in-law Michelle Berkeley; special sister Gina Richardson; special cousin Roydelle Berkeley and best friend Carlton Smith.

He leaves behind to mourn numerous relatives and friends including his Marketplace, Island Construction, H.M. Prisons and Stevedoring Services families.

Mitchel’s favourite colour was olive green. Feel free to wear something that represents that. Flowers may be sent.

Church, Main Road, Sandys. Interment will follow in St. Jospeh’s Cemetery.

There will be no viewing. He will also be missed by numerous, relatives and friends. The family thank you all for your prayers.

A Celebration of Life service for Gladys Furbert [Nee Darrell], beloved daughter of the late Leroy and Joyce Darrell, loving mother to Levyette Robinson and Malcolm Furbert [Lori Gilbert] in her 87th year, of “Tarnhows”, 1 Devon Point Lane, Devonshire, will be held at Bethel A.M.E Church, Shelly Bay, Hamilton Parish on Monday April 3, 2023 at 3pm.

Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Church, Hamilton Parish. Visitation for family and friends will be held at D.H. Augustus and Sons Funeral Home, 5 Elliott Street, Hamilton, Bermuda, on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Gladys leaves to cherish her memory sister: Edith Morris [the late Francis Sr.]; brother: Carlton Darrell [Jean]; grandchildren: Justin Robinson, Leah and Erika Furbert and Alexa Erskine; great-grandson: Amiri Robinson; niece: Renee Burchall; nephews: Alvin and Michael Smith, Francis, Shaun and Neal Morris and Albert Burgess. She also leaves other close family, the Bethel A.M.E. Church family and special friends too numerous to mention.

Pre-deceased by: sisters: Muriel Anderson [Bill], Hilda Burgess [the late Fred] and Grace Smith; nephew: Ralph Smith.

Funeral services will be held at Southampton Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sunday 2nd April 2023 at 2:00pm with interment to follow the service at Christ Church Presbyterian Church of Scotland, Warwick.

Relative and friends may pay their last respects at the viewing, held at Augustus Funeral Home on Saturday 1st April 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Eric is also survived by grandchildren: Jazuri, Jazai and Jazae Easton-Thompson; siblings: Lois Saltus [Howard], Hilda Tucker [Walter], Loretta Bean [Clarence], Albert Jr. Easton [Sharon], Kenneth Easton, James Smith and Karlton Smith; in-laws: Maurice Harvey [Edna], Lary Harvey, Joan Harvey, Denise Trew; special niece: Gladys Caisey; godchildren: Willoughby [Jamie] Richardson, Silk Kurt Richardson, Dorinda Nusum and numerous other dear relatives and friends both in Bermuda and abroad.

Eric was predeceased by siblings: Raymond Easton [Gloria], Edward Easton [Lovita], Carol Bean, Patrice Easton; grandson: Roman Edwards-Easton; brothers in-law: Collingwood Harvey and Robert Trew.

Daughter of the late Willis Leon and Louisa Ann Swan. Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Frederick Bean; cherished mother of Fred Jr. and his wife Loretta, Leon, Raymond, Randolf and his wife Sandra; predeceased by her brothers Dudley, Leroy, Erskine, Sinclair, Clayton, Alex and Benson; sisters Muriel Pitt. Vivian Steede, Helen Swan, Clara Harris and Phyllis Swan. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother of many and dear aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

Winifred was a long-time member of the Presbyterian Church of Teaneck.

Familv and friends are invited for visitation this Saturday April 1, 2023, 10 am to 11 am at the Presbyterian Church of Teaneck, 1 Church Street, Teaneck. A funeral service will begin at 11 am [EST]. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, NJ
